Barries Bar Olympics - Wednesday Night!
Posted by southstander on May 03 2005 - 07:35:47

Bar Olympics

Tomorrow Night...is the Night!

Barries Bar Olympics promises to be a fantastic evening for the whole family, and just the ticket to blastaway those pre-election blues.

It is your chance to take on a Rhinos star at one of a whole host of traditional, and not-so-traditional bar games and help the fans defeat the World Champions.

On the evening of the 4th May 2005 (wednesday) and starting at 7:30pm, the supporters will take on the players at a variety of 'bar games' to see which side will be crowned champs.

Barrie will be bringing along a number of his colleagues to spend the evening playing pool, snooker, darts, dominos, cards, and a whole host of other 'sit down' games. Just three pounds gains you entry into a draw to take on the players at these various games, with everyone getting an equal chance of playing and winning points for the supporters side as we strive to beat the players!

We expect that over half of those who attend will get to play a game of some sort during the night.

Entry to the event is just three pounds (with a small surcharge for PayPal), as we take over the Leeds Rugby Club in the south stand car park. There is no age limit, but we'd ask that youngsters are accompanied by an adult. Anyone could end up taking on any player at any game!

There are two ways to get your ticket!

You can pay via PayPal (at a cost of £3.32 per ticket to cover PayPal fees). Please print out your receipt and bring it with you for entry, your names will be allocated numbers for the draw. Click below to pay using this method.

Alternatively, you can just walk up on the night and buy your ticket at the door (for £3).

We hope that as many people as possible will support this event, and we look forward to seeing you all on wednesday night.
