Posted by southstander on September 16 2008 - 06:00:55

In a Dream

Five Rhinos received a massive boost ahead of fridays crunch play-off at Knowsley Road by being named in the prestigious Superleague Dream Team.

The five names will be no surprise to SouthStander regulars, as all five of them are within your top seven in this years long-running Player of the Season poll.

Leeds and Saints share the honours in the thirteen man squad, taking up ten of the places between them. The only players making the side from outside the seasons top two are Clint Greenshields (Catalan Dragons), George Carmont (Wigan Warriors) and Ben Westwood (Warrington Wolves).

The Saints five are; Gidley, Gardner, Pryce, Graham and Cunningham with the Leeds Rhinos five being; Donald, Burrow, Peacock, Ellis and Sinfield.

Four of these Leeds players will be donning a Dream Team shirt for the second season running with Kevin Sinfield being the one who missed out last year. All players will be bursting with pride at being named the best player in their position, a big boost before friday night.
