With Rhinos fans expecting the announcement of the signing of either Frank Pritchard or Reuben Wiki, Gary hetherington has sprung a surprise by naming the twenty-one year old New Zealander as the newest addition to the 2009 squad.

Greg will join the Rhinos after completing his World Cup duties for his country, coming up against a number of his new team mates for the first time. Eastwood made his international debut last year (2007) in the Anzac Test, coming off the bench.

He has scored fifteen tries in sixty-two games for his club side after being signed by them as a junior.

Standing six feet tall and weighing in at seventeen stones he's got plenty of size to add to the Rhinos pack.
