Last Chance

It's Superleague XIII so it must be the Rhinos beating the Bulls...for the fourth time.

However deep you see the Rhinos current blip/stumble/crisis, share a thought for the ever diminishing Bradford Bulls supporters, who really are in free fall. They have won just three times in their last ten outings and could find themselves missing out on the play-offs for the first time in Superleague.

We preview the game here...

The irritating loss of Ali Lauiti'iti through suspension is tempered by the delight of the return of Scott Doanld and Brent Webb to the Rhinos line-up ahead of friday nights game. Luke Burgess also makes the nineteen which comprises; Webb, Donald, Senior, Smith, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Diskin, Peacock, Ellis, Sinfield, Scruton, Kirke, Ablett, Tansey, Burgess, Worrall, Jones Bishop, and Anselme. All of a sudden we look a lot stronger than we did for last weekends trip to Warrington and out of that squad I'd expect Worrall and either Jones-Bishop or Anselme to miss out on final selection.

McNamara, who must be as amazed as the rest of us that he is still clocking on every morning at Odsal, has lost Solomoa and Feather to injury to join the likes of Burgess, Deacon, Platt and Tupou on the long term injury list. He has drafted in sixteen year old James Donaldson into his nineteen which also includes youngsters Jode Sherriffe and Richard Johnson. McNamara will make up his mind from; Cook, Langley, Halley, Vagana, Sykes, Lynch, Harris, Newton, Evans, Platt, Sheriffe, Donaldson, Godwin, Kopczak, Jeffries, Tadulala, Finnigan, Johnson, and Nero.

Three Bullies to watch;

Fat Boy

Big Joe

It is now over a year since the Rhinos lost to the Bulls when we went down 14-38 at Headingley in Vainikolo's last game. In this seasons three outings we've taken the spoils by 40-26, 44-02, and 30-14 for an aggregate of 114-42 or an average of 38-14. Don't expect too many Bulls fans to make the journey. Prediction
Rhinos 32 12 Bulls

After some dreadful performances, both team and individual, within the last couple of weeks I'm tipping this as the game where we will get back on the bike and start pedalling for all we're worth towards Old Trafford. We need to seal second place to avoid the threat of a play-off eliminator trip to a very tricky Perpignan, that alone should be incentive to raise the game a little.

The bookies haven't put the odds up yet but in terms of handicapping expect the Bulls to have a 10 to 14 point start. I think I'd still be on the Rhinos even if the higher of these was the case.

With some rain in the afternoon the forecast hints that the weather will improve towards the early evening so should remain dry for the game.

Don't forget to get your predictions in here.

Enjoy the game.
