Not L4L!
by Loiner4life

We're all off to Perpignan, well I wish I was. I'm stuck back here in blighty still wondering where to find updates.

Round 22 of engage Super Legaue and the big clash of the weekend takes place at the Stade Gilbert Brutus. Which way our predictiors will predict, nobody knows.

Read more here....

Here are my thoughts on this weekend's action in Super League XIII Round 22.

WARRIORS v SAINTS

Fridays Sky game sees Nobles men lie down and probably concede 40 this Friday in a game in which not even if Maurice Lindsey was in charge of Wigan would have a chance of winning, out done by the mixed form side Hull KR away last week come up against joint top of the league who had an easy day out against Castleford last week. I think Sculthorpe has managed more the 2 games without an injury so maybe this week we could see him limp off. The best out come other then Wigan surprising us all and winning here is if Palea'aesina falls on a few knees and brakes a few legs in time for the end of season run in. Anderson to turn out in shades and Noble to go through 15 pieces of gum, oh and a Saints Win. Saints by 32

DRAGONS v RHINOS

3rd host joint top in the south of France beware if youíre on the same plane as Gareth it might struggle taking off and should you hit a pocket of Turbulence donít confuse it with Gareth getting peckish as for the game well many of Leedsís English lads came up against many of the Dragons only 3 week back and gave them a hiding so hopefully due to the large margin in which the Saints will win we could do with a large score our selves. Unfortunately despite Leeds having Clinton back this week we lose Brent Webb, Diskin and maybe Bailey while Catalans are missing key player Adam Mogg. Leeds should have enough to win here and open a little gap up. Leeds by 16

GIANTS V WOLVES

Two clubs with caretakers in charge but at least Jimmy Lowes is in with a shout at getting the job full time next year. Paul Anderson has a massive task on his hands; despite working with great coaches such as Noble and Anderson he isnít really making a difference to the Huddersfield side. Warrington have far too much talent on show to walk away without anything from the most overpriced ground in any form of sport and it could be a huge score line. Wire by 18

BULLS v WILDCATS

Both teams in a weird bit of form, Bulls have a few players carrying injuries which isnít good news as far as they are concerned, Wakefield will have 1 eye on the big prize and thatís next weeks cup game. Iíve not seen the squads but I think Wakefield may rest one or 2 however, if Wakefield win here they would take the Bullsí position of sitting in 6th place who have lost 11 games this year! If the Wildcats come out and go for it I think they could win but I think they have there minds too much no next weeks game. Bulls by 8

'QUINS v TIGERS

Castleford will have to take advantage of Harlequins having quite a few players suspended for the fight against the French last week but they still continue the season without an away win which I think will be in the back of the playerís minds. It will be like rabbits in front of headlights at the weekend I mean for Castleford visiting Leeds it is a culture shock but seeing the big city will scare the hell out of the village people itís going to be close and could go either way however Iíll stick with the Home team and go for Quins. HULLANDROVERS

I can see an upset here and predict a FC win Ė HA calling it an upset and coming up with a FC win, whoíd a thought it? FC find themselves just 4 points behind their neighbours so a win here could help them push for a 6th position slot but I think itís too little too late and FC should start planning for next season. KR have quite a few injuries and the Clint Newton injury is a massive blow for them. Unfortunately for Briscoe and Cooke itís going to be an unhappy return to the KC Stadium. FC by 16
