Posted by Number 2 on July 17 2008 - 14:33:31

The squads have been announced for the Round 22 engage Super League XIII clash with Catalans Dragons at the Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday night.

Big blow for the Rhinos as Brent Webb will miss his first Super League game of the season after picking up a back injury in training. Ryan Bailey also missed out after hobbling off last week against the Giants but Matt Diskin will be available after recovering from an elbow injury. Nick Scruton returns after completing his suspension while Ian Kirke is named for the first time since the home game against Catalans in February.

For the Dragons, Adam Mogg misses the game through suspension after being sent off in the victory over Harlequins at the weekend. It could prompt the return of Casey McGuire into the half back and a return to the run on side for Aaron Gorrell, the Rhinos tormentor in chief in Perpignan last year.

The squads announced today are:

Leeds Rhinos: Donald, Toopi, Senior, Smith, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Diskin, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ellis, Sinfield, Lauitiiti, Scruton, Kirke, Ablett, Hall, Burgess, Kaye.

Catalans Dragons: Baile, Bosc, Carlaw, Casty, Chan, Croker, Elima, Gorrell, Greenshields, Guisset, McGuire, Mounis, Murphy, Pelo, Quintilla, Raguin, Stacul, Touxagas, Wilson.

Referee: Ian Smith
Video Referee: TBC

A full preview of the game will appear on Friday.
