On the evening of the 4th May 2005 (a wednesday) and starting at 7:30pm, the supporters will take on the players at a variety of 'bar games' to see which side will be crowned champs.|
Barrie will be bringing along a number of his colleagues to spend the evening playing pool, snooker, darts, dominos, cards, and a whole host of other 'sit down' games. Your ticket gains you entry into a draw to take on the players at these various games, with everyone getting an equal chance of playing and winning points for the supporters side as we strive to beat the players!
We expect that over half of those who buy tickets will get to play a game of some sort during the night.
Entry to the event is just three pounds (with a small surcharge for PayPal and postal applications), as we take over the Leeds Rugby Club in the south stand car park. There is no age limit, but we'd ask that youngsters are accompanied by an adult. Anyone could end up taking on any player at any game!
There are three ways to get your ticket!
For £3 a time, you can get a numbered ticket from Oldham Rhino, before or after any game (1st team and U21's), between now and the event. You will find him in the Rugby club before home games, and in the Long Bar afterwards. He will also be selling at away games, ask around, someone will know where he is (or check the BMDC thread on the messageboard).
You can make a postal application for tickets at £3 each plus a 50p postage fee (50p total for as many tickets as you apply for). Please send cheques, payable to 'Paul Coward' to; Paul Coward, c/o Technology House, Lissadel Street, Salford, M6 6AP and don't forget to include your name and address so I can send your tickets. Postal applications will be accepted up until the 29th April.
Finally, you can pay via PayPal (at a cost of £3.32 per ticket to cover PayPal fees). Please print out your receipt and bring it with you for entry, your names will be allocated numbers for the draw. Click below to pay using this method.
We hope that as many people as possible will support this event, and we look forward to seeing you all of the 4th May.
