Not L4L!
by Loiner4life

Here we go again, as our resident experts put their necks on the line for the tipping and Loiner4Life gives us the low down on the big clashes ahead this weekend.

In the SS.com predictions table there is only seven points separating the three.

Three men enter, one shall leave victorious.

Here are my thoughts on this weekend's action in Super League XIII Round 18.

RHINOS v. SAINTS

Itís Sky Sports viewing and Radio Leeds listening for Eddieís dream Orgy on show at Headingley Carnegie Friday night. I donít think it will be a classic I think both teams will be taking this game to size each other up for the Semi final clash in a few weeks time. Leeds are looking really nervy down the right and youíd expect Long and Pryce to take full advantage of that. Brent Webb will be key I think on Friday heís going to be the last line of defence ready to wipe up any mess left behind from any of Hall, Smith, Eric and Ablett. Ganson has his first game in charge of Saints and I hope come the end of 80mins we are not talking about the refís performace. I wont be too saddened at a loss Iíd rather get this little bit of dip in form out of the way if Iím honest - but as ever youíve got more chance seeing me buy a house in St Helens and keeping the windows unlocked then tipping against my beloved Leeds. Leeds by 6.

DRAGONS v WOLVES

Jimmy Lowesís back to back winning Warrington travel to France this Saturday and board at Wire have given him the Full time job and by the looks of things the players are enjoying playing under him. Catalans got a fantastic win against one of the top 6 sides last week. News that McGuire has signed a new deal which will lift their camp. Mmmmm toughest one to call this week I think I fancy Catalans because they are at home but I also fancy Warrington because they are in good form under Lowes but Iím going to go for a Dragons win. Dragons by 4.

KR v. WILDCATS

Wakefield will be hoping to put in a performance that the late David Topliss will be proud of watching and I think they will. Despite David playing from the Rovers rivals Iím sure the great fans of Hull KR will honour and tribute him before the game gets on the way. Rovers are dipping a little in form of late and Wakefield survived a scare from Huddersfield and their un-sporting tactics aimed and Man of Steel contender Danny Brough. Despite home advantage I think the quality of Wakefield and leadership of John Kier will take them home with 2 points Wakefield by 8.

BULLS v. FC

Repeat of the Challenge cup game which has put Bradford in a real state of late, The Hull club will like Wakefield be still shocked at the passing of one of their list of long legends and again will be looking to put a performance in that David would love to watch. Hull have a very good set of Forwards and Bulls will be hoping Burgess will be back to give them a bit of muscle to match them. I think the Bulls have too many injures in an already weak squad and I fancy Hull to keep their little run going at the speedway track in front of another probable laughable crowd. Hull by 10.

WARRIORS v. TIGERS

Wigan didnít give the response I thought they would against the dragons last week, the 2 ex Leeds stars Calderwood and Mathers are been frozen out at Wigan and will more then likely miss out again this week. Castleford have another half of dozen games to go before they get the once in a blue moon win although with Wigan you never know what team will turn up. I just think Wigan have too much quality in the big names they have compared to Cas to come away with anything other then the 2 points and I fancy it to be the biggest win margin of the weekend thatís for sure. 'QUINS v. GIANTS

Superb win for the London side last week helped out by the Sky Cameras being present at the Stoop while Steve Ganson supposedly robbed the Giants of a win in their fixture against the wild cats. Unfortunately Huddersfield have not had the same fortune in the new coach effect as what Hull and Warrington have had and until they get someone sorted I cant see them picking any points up (unless they have a home tie against Cas coming up) despite the long journey up north I fancy the Quins to go back to the capital with the 2 points.
