2005 Sponsorship Appeal

2005 Sponsorship! Sponsorship is now in it's fourth year, and for the fourth year running we intend to sponsor Wayne McDonald.

Membership entitles you to entry in the prize draws for the various Sponsors benefits. It also gets you an enamel badge for each share that you purchase.

Not only that, but whenever Wayne scores, and the scoreboard says 'Sponsored by', you can point to yourself, wearing a broad grin, and say, 'that's me, that is!'.

In addition to this, we are donating £2.50 from every share to the 'Tsunami Relief Appeal'.

To be a part of the sponsorship just costs £10. All purchasers of a £10 share will receive the following;

  • Entry into all 'benefits' draws.
  • An enamel badge, exclusive to ' 2005 Sponsors' (just like the picture above).
  • Entry into exclusive sponsor only competitions throughout the year.
  • Entry into a draw for 3 pairs of 'Long Bar' Season tickets (all applications received by 4th February).
  • The more shares that we sell, the more prizes that will be put up throughout the season. I hope that these will include Headingley hospitality, cup tickets, rhinos merchandise and a few special items.

    The draw for sponsors benefits will be made at an early season function (in the Leeds Rugby Club) to which all members will be invited, and where Wayne will be present. The benefits include; Waynes playing shirt, dinner invitations, a signed action photo and anything else that I can 'blag' out of the club/players. To ensure impartiality, the players will make the draw.

    Charity Benefit

    I am sure that most people, like me, have been horrified at the extent of the disaster that hit the Indian Ocean on Boxing Day. I have decided that £2.50 out of every £10 share will be donated to the Tsunami Relief Appeal, that means if the limited number of 300 shares are all purchased, will be donating £750 to the Appeal.

    How do I sign up?

    Simple. Go to this page, print it out, fill it in, and send it to me with your cheque, or postal order. Alternatively, pay by Paypal below.

    There is no limit to the number of shares you can hold, although they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once they are gone, they are gone. Why not get them for friends and family as '2005 Season' presents? Go on, you know you want to!

    Badges and membership shares will be sent out as soon as I have them from the printers/designers (around the end of January), and all names will be logged on a list, so you can check that I have received your application.

    This is a fantastic chance to own one or more of the strictly limited 300 shares, and own a piece of Wayne McDonald for the season.

    Alternatively, fill your details in here and pay by .
