Rhinos in 'Tie of the Round'?
Posted by southstander on March 14 2005 - 19:45:28

The Prize

One of the most exciting moments in the Rugby League season happened just after seven-thirty tonight when the draw for the fourth round of the Powergen Challenge Cup was made at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield.

The draw, which was undertaken by Chris Joynt and a representative from the sponsor, saw the Superleague sides join the amateurs in the quest for Cardiff.

The Rhinos ended up in one of three all Superleague ties.

In terms of Superleague, the draw pitted the Rhinos against last weeks visitors Warrington Wolves, Huddersfield take on St. Helens and Wakefield entertain Hull FC. Two out of these three are likely to be the TV games. The romance of the cup saw the amateurs from Wath Brow drawn out to go to Toulouse for a 'once in a lifetime' trip.
