After last years success, the SouthStander.com Predictions competition is back.
We'll be keeping the same format as last year and John D has kindly agreed to stay on for another year as administrator.
The competition will be open to all SouthStander.com Sponsors, with the 'top Rhino' winning themselves a 2008 Rhinos home shirt, just as soon as they become available in November 2007. You need to be in it, to win it, so get your SouthStander.com Sponsorship now.
The philosophy on predictions competitions is to keep things simple. It makes it much easier to follow and keeps the league table tight all season long. So here's how it works. Each Monday (starting on 5th February), we'll post the following weekends fixtures on the messageboard. All you need to do is reply to that thread telling us which team will win and by how many points. We then tabulate you points like this:
Correctly predict a draw: 5 points
Correctly predict the right winning team and the right margin: 3 points
Correctly predict the right winning team, but not the right margin: 1 point
Anything else: 0 points
We'll have Tipster of the Month prizes and the winner at the end of the season will win a 2008 home replica shirt as soon as they become available.
So keep your eyes on the messageboard and best of luck for the season.
