Oh, dear!
In our review of the 2005 season, we've made it to balmy August. The Rhinos were still riding high in Superleague, but the wheels were about to come-off big time.

Read what happened in August here.

The Rhinos relegate Leigh from engage Super League after a 74-0 victory at Hilton Park. Ashley Gibson marks his debut with a try with his very first touch of the ball, going on the claim a hat-trick and five goals. Willie Poching picks up a fractured cheekbone.....

Adrian Morley linked with short term deal at Leeds.....Leeds announce capture of Shane Millard from Widnes to replace the departing Andrew Dunemann .....Under 21's get revenge for defeat at Salford with a 50-12 victory at Morley RFC .....

Kevin Sinfield returns from injury as the Rhinos gain revenge for the defeat in France with a 44-24 victory over London at Headingley in a bruising battle.....The Headingley rumour mill keeps turning with a host of players linked with Leeds.....Rhinos crash to 42-10 defeat to Bradford at Headingley a week before the Challenge Cup Final, Keith Senior and Danny McGuire both pick up injuries that rate them doubtful for Cardiff.....

Under 21's wrap up their Minor Premiership with a 68-10 victory at Huddersfield.....Keith Senior still the big doubt in the lead up to Cardiff.....

A try by Paul Cooke with three minutes on the clock breaks the Rhinos hearts as Hull FC claim the Powergen Challenge Cup with a 25-24 victory in Cardiff. Senior is passed fit and then only lasts until half time in what proves to be his last appearance in 2005.
