Protest Hits Headingley
As the new season starts to raise its head on the horizon, and the lads get back into training ahead of the festive challenge, we take a backwards look at the season that was 2005.

We'll cover both the highlights, the lowlights as we wrap up 12 months of following the Leeds Rhinos.

In our review of the year, we arrive in April.


'Green Action' campaigners invade Headingley and set up camp in front of the South stand.....Under 18's lose opening grading game 33-32 at Huddersfield.....Leeds get on the road to Cardiff as they scrape home 26-22 against a determined Warrington side in front of the BBC cameras.....Rhinos draw french team SM Pia at Headingley in Round 5.....

DAPr announce schism from the PFU.....Francis Cummins returns to action with a try as the Under 21's open the league campaign with a 44-05 victory at a damp Cougar Park.....13-try Rhinos smash London Broncos 64-6 at Headingley, Marcus Bai with yet another hat-trick against London.....

Bookies make Leeds 1/6 to win Minor Premiership.....Under 21's game against Dewsbury is called off because of waterlogged pitch at Headingley.....Rhinos record biggest ever win at Wigan with a 38-14 success. Liam Botham's try laying the platform in superb second half display.....

Under 18's lose 22-20 at home to Warrington.....Attempt to replay Under 21's game with Dewsbury, this time at Tetley's Stadium, again thwarted by the weather.....Danny McGuire picks up another long term injury, this time a broken make 410 donation to Tsunami fund and get to sponsor Tony Smith after Wayne McDonald leaves for Wigan on loan.....

Rhinos overcome determined Widnes side 42-20 at Halton Stadium, Kevin Sinfield chipping in with 22 points.....Under 18's qualify for top division with 34-8 win at Hull KR.....Under 21's win 74-04 at Featherstone.....Huddersfield beaten 44-14 at Headingley, Rob Burrow with a hat trick of tries.....Leeds Tykes avoid relegation from the Zzzzzzzzzzurich Premiership with a last day win at Bath.....
