Fans French Fancy Tickled By Big Bazza
Posted by southstander on July 26 2005 - 23:28:50

French Maid?
Sunday night offers all Rhinos fans the chance to either; celebrate our progress into the Challenge Cup Final in style; or, drown your sorrows as Toulouse become the first French side in the history of the competition to make it to the last two.

As part of Barrie McDermotts Testimonial season, there will be a 'French Themed' party in the Leeds Rugby Club from 6:00pm on sunday night. All are welcome, and a prize will be given to the best French themed fancy dress.

Sundays main event sees the Rhinos take on Toulouse, who heroically overcame Widnes Vikings in the quarter finals, at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield. The game kicks off at 1:45pm and will be televised live on BBC1.

Once the game is over, the Rhinos and Toulouse players will all travel back to Headingley for a great 'French Themed' party night in Graham Eccles Fine Ale Emporium.

The doors will open at 6:00pm, with entry being just £2 per person on a first come, first served basis. Attendees are encouraged to don their best 'French' fancy dress with prizes for the best fella and lass on the night.

As well as a chance to mingle with the players, there will be a raffle for one of the players shirts worn that afternoon, sweat and all! And, the evening will go on until late with a disco.

It should be a great way to celebrate (fingers crossed), so please give this event your full support.
