After a high scoring start to the SL season we now get into Round 2 here are the Previews for this weekends fixtures.|
FC v. BULLS
Both teams go into this match with a point to prove.
The hosts will be determined to show last weeks lesson at the hands of the defending Champs was just a blip whilst the visitors arrive just as determined to show their big win over top 8 wakey was no fluke.
the home side have the added pressure of having a new big spending and even bigger mouthed owner whilst the visitors are looking to show their re-birth is up and running.
This could be a crucial game already for Gentle and his new look team another loss will raise serious doubts about their credentials to hit the top 6 as contenders especially amongst the home support and the boardroom.
Whilst the Dulls arrive under little pressure they will want to maintain their winning momentum and build up confidence for a serious run to the top 8.
A tough game to call but for me home advantage should just about be enough for the hosts to trawl the 2 points.

WARRIORS v. WOLVES
The game of the weekend at the Pie-dome and already a huge clash between two of the favourites for top 4 spots.
Already the home coach has plenty to say about how good his team is and will be whilst the visitors got the win but not the "cruise" most expected v Cas last week.
Both teams have ambitions for the Treble but both also have had different recruitment policies in the off season.
The visitors arrive as they were for 2012 so have a settled 17 whereas the Pies have a new 6 and 7 and changes in the pack and out wide.
Whilst Rat-Boy and co will be tough to beat especially at home their loss of quality is obvious and will dictate just how well they fare this year.
A battle royal but the quality is with the visitors and i think they'll have too much for the Pies.

DRAGONS v. REDS
The hosts start their home campaign against the 2013 whipping boys who although saved by the takeover have left it far to late to build a competitive squad With a new home-grown coach and some squad changes the hosts will remain confident of a top 5 finish and this weekends opponents wont change that thought process.
The best the Reds can hope for is to keep the scores respectable until the reinforcements arrive and they actually gel whether or not the new owner will be patient enough remains to be seen.
A long trip home for the Reds after a bruising loss.

WILDCATS v. KR
Both teams with a losing start will want that first win asap. The hosts just didn't get going last week and were battered with ease whilst the visitors started slow but still showed some skill and desire to et within 10 points of their opponents.
The hosts have to learn how to play without T.smith and show last year wasn't a fluke whereas the visitors need to play for 80 minutes and not 40.
This should prove to be entertaining both like to attack with flair whilst at the same time neither team are water-tight defensively.
I think it will be end to end but again i'm going with home advantage and the fact the Cats will be that bit more desperate for the 2 points.

TIGERS v. RHINOS
This week we step back in time for the away trip to Cas Vegas.
The hosts will be fired up and encouraged by a reasonable effort away at Wire last week and they always see this as their "Cup Final" when the big city visitors arrive.
For the Champs they arrive after a convincing win at home against the pretenders from Cods-Ville.
The hosts always raise their game for this and for the 1st hour should be competitive but i expect the Champs to build on last week and again go through the gears.
It may be closer than many think on the score-board but the visitors still have too much quality for the hosts.

GIANTS v. BRONCOS
After the impressive destruction away at ST's this week the Giants get a mis-match in the shape of manys wooden spoon 2nd favourites the Broncos.
A non contest in store and expect the hosts to cruise this match and build up their points + column.
The visitors may compete for an hour but dont have enough quality to do the job for 80 minutes.

VIKINGS v. SAINTS
After their home humiliation by the Giants the visitors get a good chance to get their season going against the unfancied yet improved Vikings.
Winning away in London will boost the home sides confidence no doubts but a fired up Roby and co will soon wreck that.
This could get messy for the home team but i think they'll grind out respectability without troubling the visitors.
